My antenatal preparation course is designed to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take the lead in your birth experience. Each session is bespoke, tailored to your unique circumstances, preferences, and goals. Together, we will explore the incredible transformation your body undergoes to birth your baby, as well as practical breathing techniques and comfort measures to support you during labour. We’ll also discuss the different kinds of birth, your options, and how to make informed choices that align with what feels right for you.
You’ll learn about the natural hormonal process of labour and how to support it, which is equally important whether you’re preparing for a vaginal or abdominal birth. With an emphasis on understanding that birth is a natural event - though sometimes it benefits from medical support - these sessions will help you feel prepared for all scenarios. I’ll provide guidance on writing your birth preferences, preparing for your baby’s arrival, and planning for your postnatal recovery, ensuring both your mind and body are ready for this transformative experience.
For birth partners, we’ll explore how to be the best possible support during labour, fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment. With WhatsApp support included, you’ll have ongoing access to me for any questions or reassurance as your journey progresses.
